Days gone by (2)

Days 32-33 The Ozarks, Arkansas (160 miles)
Just beautiful. The rolling mountains of the Ozarks were challenging, but we were prepared after the steep slopes of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.

Looking out over a beautiful vista with the mist of the rain covering the land:

Day 34-35: Grove, OK; Bartlesville, OK + Missouri (58 miles; 79 miles)
We biked in three states, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, all in one day! Because it was a shorter day and we all wanted to cross the state lines together, we biked as a big group for most of the day. It’s pretty insane that 58 miles is now a “short day” that allows us time to diddle-daddle! We’ve come a long way since being so pooped on our first day of 65 miles. Here are some pictures at the state lines:

The gals, showing off our hot bike short tan lines! woohoo! (and me, flying):

The hospitality in Oklahoma so far has been wonderful. Last night we stayed with … And this evening and tomorrow, our day off, we are at the Church of Christ. Thank you for the food and good company!
